The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) has published a new call for proposals under the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) for a total budget of up to EUR 50 million, due by March 2026. 

These calls aim to create a more secure, sovereign, and resilient digital Europe, with “Cyber 09” focusing on critical areas of cybersecurity deployment for the following topics: 

  • Uptake of innovative solutions for SMEs (UPTAKE) – EUR 15 million 
  • Regional Cable Hubs (CABLEHUBS) – EUR 10 million 
  • Cybersecure tools, technologies and services relying on AI (CYBERAI) – EUR 15 million 
  • Coordinated preparedness testing and other preparedness actions (COORDPREP) – EUR 10 million 

This information session, hosted by the Portuguese National Cybersecurity Centre (CNCS/NCC-PT) and the Irish National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC/NCC-IE) will provide an overview of the upcoming DEP Cyber-09 and Cyber-10 calls as well as the upcoming Secure Project (Total funding of €16.5 million) and CYSSDE Project, including Call Objectives, Expected Outcomes, Target End-Users, Suitable Applicants, Budget and Funding Rates.
