ECSO invites its Members to join an exclusive webinar titled EuroStack and the Role of the Cybersecurity Community, taking place on 8 April 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET
Considering recent geopolitical shifts and policy developments, Europe’s need to assert its technological sovereignty is more critical than ever. Factors such as the evolving dynamics between Europe and the United States, the new political momentum generated by initiatives like the ReArm Europe Plan and the Savings and Investments Union, the transposition of the NIS2 Directive, and the implementation phase of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), alongside Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine, have opened a strategic window for Europe to strengthen its digital and technological independence.
In this context, initiatives like EuroStack—designed to build a robust, homegrown digital ecosystem aligned with European core values of democracy, privacy, and sustainability—are gaining significant political traction and cross-sectoral support. According to its foundational vision, “EuroStack is an umbrella term for a European tech infrastructure intended to create local capacity along the digital value chains enabling the provision of digital products and services” (EuroStack, 2025).
In collaboration with the Digital SME Alliance, ECSO invites you to an introductory webinar exploring the EuroStack concept. The session will discuss how EuroStack can accelerate Europe’s technological sovereignty, empower SMEs, reinforce digital resilience against external threats, and examine the essential role the cybersecurity community will play in shaping and safeguarding Europe’s digital future.
