Jared Browne is the Global Head of Privacy and AI Governance for the Fexco Group. Originally a philosophy graduate, he is a qualified lawyer, holds a master’s degree in Privacy & Technology Law, and is a recognised, international speaker on AI governance.
Jared is a member of the EU AI Office’s GPAI Code of Practice working group in Brussels. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO) and is also the Chair of CEDPO’s AI Working Group. He is the former Chair of the Irish Association of Data protection Officers. Furthermore, Jared is a member of the AI & ML Working Group of a major international think tank, the Future of Privacy Forum in Washington DC. Jared was the recipient of a PICASSO Europe Privacy Award in 2023 in the Rising Star category, and he was nominated again in 2024 in the Responsible AI category.
