Cyber Ireland EU Funding Working Group
The European Union (EU) provides a wide range of funding opportunities for research and innovation, that can significantly support technological development and commercial growth in cybersecurity.
However, navigating these programmes can be challenging. Securing funding successfully requires a strong understanding of the EU funding landscape and detailed knowledge of the application processes for each programme.
Aligned with the Cyber Ireland Cluster Strategy 2024-2027, the Business Growth Focus Area is designed to help businesses start up, scale, and innovate. A key objective within this area is to strengthen connections between the Irish cybersecurity solutions market and Europe, while leveraging EU funding opportunities to foster business growth and the development of new innovations and solutions.
Cyber Ireland’s EU Funding Working Group (WG) assists organisations, -particularly Cybersecurity SMEs, to identify and secure EU funding effectively.
Cyber Ireland works with key organisations such as the NCC-IE, National Contact Points, and the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) to disseminate funding calls and connect with European initiatives.
