“Making Irish Companies the First Line of our Cyber Defense”

Irish companies exporting must be internationally competitive and digitally focused. Cyber security is critical to protect a company and its customers, as well as being a value-add and differentiator for companies internationally. New grants are being launched by Enterprise Ireland (EI) – Cyber Review Grant – and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) – Cyber Improvement Grant – to improve Irish companies’ cyber security.

New cybersecurity grants have been launched by Enterprise Ireland (EI) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to assess and improve Irish companies’ cyber security.

Stage 1: EI Cyber Review Grant to assess a company’s cybersecurity and produce a remediation plan – Project Costs of €3,000 with 80% funding.
Stage 2: NCSC Cyber Improvement Grant to implement the priority recommendations from the Stage 1: Cyber Review Grant –
Min. project cost is€25,000. Max grant available of €60,000 or 80% of the project cost, whichever is the lesser.

Cyber security service-providers have a central role to play in ensuring the success of the grant scheme by:

Raising awareness of the importance of cyber security to Irish companies.

Sharing the grant with EI clients across Ireland.

Delivering appropriate “Cyber Review” and “Cyber Improvement” projects.
