Arrow ECS are now recruiting a Business Development Manager. The purpose of this role is to support a set of security vendors within the Arrow portfolio, in growing their revenue within the Irish market.

Business Development Manager Key Duties:

  • Supporting the vendor sales team in account managing and lead generation activities
  • Driving forward new business opportunities
  • Maximizing opportunities with existing partners and net new accounts
  • Calling out to target customers to introduce the Arrow ECS Value Proposition
  • Account managing nominated target strategic and growth accounts
  • Identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate products/services

Professional Skills & Experience Required:        

  • Fully PC Literate – particularly Word, Excel, use of email etc
  • At least two year’s previous sales experience, within a similar environment and/ or knowledge or experience of the IT security sector is desirable

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • Experience in sales, forecasting and opportunity management
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • A team player
  • Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to their workload
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Intelligent and keen to learn new skills
  • A confident personality
