ICT Associate Apprenticeship Cyber Security 2022

ICT Associate Apprenticeship Cyber Security

FIT (Fastrack to IT) is a representative organisation of the technology sector and proud National Coordinator of ICT Tech Apprenticeships in Ireland.

FIT are delighted to be bring the Associate Apprenticeship Cyber Security to companies and apprentices in the Monaghan, Meath and Louth regions with the launch of our Dundalk based Cyber Security Apprenticeship in March 2022.

The adoption of the Tech Apprenticeship programme by industry has been quite phenomenal and since it’s commencement in 2018 already over 200+ businesses have availed of this new tech talent pipeline.

How it Works:

FIT will connect your organisation with fully screened, aptitude tested and interviewed Apprentice candidates

You can interview from our talent pool and select your apprentice or offer access to the programme to one of your own existing staff members as a development opportunity.

Once selected, the apprentice will start on the Tech apprenticeship which is a two-year programme that combines off-the-job skills training with on-the-job application, culminating in the attainment of a QQI Level 6 Award as part of the national apprenticeship programme.

In addition there is a €4,000 grant for each apprentice you take on. This grant is also available if the apprentice is an existing staff member.

All of the job training, certification and exams are fully government funded. If you foresee an expansion or addition to your Cyber Team over the next two years, the Apprentice programme is the answer to your staffing needs.
