General information:

The Dublin Chapter provides a forum for the cyber security community in the region to come together, connect organisations, support growth and address challenges.

The region has over 100 cyber security firms and 300 organisations with cyber security operations across a range of sectors. There is a strong MNC sector in Dublin and the majority of Irish cyber security companies are based in Dublin, close to the major market in Ireland. Dublin has four universities, as well as national educational institutions and private colleges providing cyber security skills into the sector. It is home to research assets such as the CeADAR Centre of Applied AI and the Centre for Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Investigation in UCD and the newly established Collaboratory at TUD.

  • Increasing the networking and collaboration of fellow cyber professionals in Dublin
  • Supporting further education initiatives for cyber graduates
