Cyber Women Ireland – Inspire Programme

CWI has launched “Cyber Inspire”; a pilot mentoring scheme to encourage more women into the industry and create opportunities for those wishing to progress their careers.

CWI is looking for both male and female mentors to contribute to the programme, which will run from October 2020 for three months. Spaces are limited to 10 mentors and 10 mentees.

Fulbright-Techimpact Cybersecurity Award At Boston College

The Fulbright Commission and Boston College are once again offering an opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Scholar or Professional to undertake non-commercial research and attend modules of the MS in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance at Boston College. Award applications are now open and the deadline is November 2, 2020

Horizon 2020 – Supporting the fight against cybercrime

Cheryl Baker, Director, UCD Centre for Cybersecurity & Cybercrime Investigation and Cyber Ireland Board Member, discusses the H2020 INSPECT project, which aims to develop a shared intelligent platform and a novel process for gathering, analysing, prioritising and presenting key data to help in the prediction, detection and management of crime in support of multiple agencies at local, national and international level. Read the interview here
